Dear Child,
Thanks for wanting to be a part of this project.

“If you wanna go fast, go alone if you wanna go far, go together!”

Trust me, I tried doing this fast and that didn’t work, so I’m ready to go far and together we can help out this beautiful family in India.

It all started two years ago, I met the Seraphin family, Benjamin, Monica, and their son, Damien. They became my God family.

I spent six months in Kolkata India volunteering with the Missionaries of Charity. I was a big brother at Diadon, a home for orphan boys with special needs. It is there that I met Benjaman, the handy man who worked there. Being handy myself, I was always curious and what he was doing, and we got along well. Eventually, knowing that I was living in a pilgrim hostel, he invited me over for a home cooked dinner.
This invitation I graciously received, “Thank you Monica, there’s nothing like an home-cooked meal filled with love!”
I continued to go over there to their humble little home. I learned what makes a home isn’t the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, but it’s the love which fills it and this home, was brimming over. They took me in as they would a son and I went over often to sit on top of their bed playing games with my little bro Damien, enjoying Monica‘s delicious cooking and chatting about life with Benjamin. What I learned from their humble way of life was inspiring.
One day, Benjamin shared that he was worried when he couldn’t do his handiwork anymore that he won’t be able to pay the rent for these four walls and collapsing roof anymore. So convicted I said “I will help you!”

I received the conviction that was two years ago. Long story short we raised around $7000 and the Serephin family was able to buy a field in the suburbs of Kolkata very close to a small church of Divine Mercy. I think everybody who’s decided to partner with me to help the Serephin family and Benjamin says,“Lord Jesus Christ bless you always❤️”

Now, we have the field, we are working on the government paperwork right now so after the monsoon season is over, we can start to build in October. Benjamin’s talked to the contractor and the estimated cost is $15,000. Please, on behalf of the Serephin family I asked for your help in this project. Come join, be a partner give what you’re able. And if you’re as crazy as I am come with me early next year to help stack some bricks!

The Good News is that God still loves the world through each one of you. You are God’s good news, you are God’s love in action.
