Stepping Up for Those Who Serve

In 2026, I'll be taking on one of my biggest personal challenges yet. Climbing Pen y Fan as part of the Forces Wives Challenge, all while raising money for the Duke of Lancaster's Regimental Charity.

Now, if you know me, you'll know this is no small feat. I'm 41, incredibly unfit, and the thought of walking up a mountain is currently far more terrifying than running a law firm! But sometimes the things that challenge us the most are the things worth doing.

I'm married to an Army veteran who proudly served with the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, including operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Through him, and through my work at JB Property Law, I've seen first-hand the resilience, sacrifice and strength shown not only by our serving personnel and veterans, but by the families who stand beside them every step of the way.

The Forces Wives Challenge is an incredible community that brings together military wives and partners through adventure, encouragement and friendship. It's about stepping outside your comfort zone, supporting one another and proving that we're capable of far more than we think.

The charity I'm supporting is equally close to my heart. The Duke of Lancaster's Regimental Charity provides vital support to serving soldiers, veterans and their families, offering help when it's needed most. It's a regimental family that looks after its own, and I'm incredibly proud that JB Property Law supports the charity throughout the year.

This challenge isn't about reaching the summit first. It's about pushing myself beyond what I thought I could do, standing alongside an amazing community of military spouses, and raising as much money as possible for a charity that makes a genuine difference.

Every donation, whatever the amount, will help support members of the Duke of Lancaster's Regimental family when they need it most.
