One More Kircher to Love

Kris and I knew from the moment we said, "I do" that our life felt complete.  We knew we would want a family down the road, but at 25 and fresh down the aisle, we had no idea how long that road would be, how much suffering we would endure, and how depleted of hope our hearts would feel. Throughout our 11 years of marriage we have endured 2 rounds of Clomid, 2 IUI cycles, 3 Frozen IVF cycles and 2 Surrogacy cycles. If you are keeping track, that is A LOT of shots, a lot of pills, a lot of financial burden and even more heart break. However those years are also filled with us growing closer together, trusting God, a lot of prayer and hope and many moments of wonder and awe as God steered us towards our destiny. Through our ups and downs with infertility, we feel our journey has not only made us stronger individually but also has shaped and molded us into being a better couple.

We will not give up on our dream of having a family! God placed this dream on our hearts to be parents and we are so honored to announce we have begun the next chapter of our lives through adoption. Please do not misunderstand our choice to adopt as a "second choice" or "the last resort"or a "lesser option". After all this time, we realize this was God's plan all along- we just had not opened our hearts to it yet. 

We will be doing Domestic Infant Adoption through Bethany Christian Services. Which means we are adopting a brand new baby!
We are finishing our home study shortly and will be available to all birth parents everywhere online and locally here in Virginia. We are reaching out to our community because we know how big your hearts are; we are witness to it every single day. You have prayed, given, shared, listened and loved alongside of us. You have been with us every step of the way and we cannot wait to introduce our little one to all of the amazing people that made their family possible.

We are raising $30, 000 and below is an outline to what that price tag includes:
A. $550   Adoption Application Fee
B. $2, 500   Home Study Fee
C. $10, 900   Program Fee 1: costs associated with outreach, education, life affirming decisions and training, counseling of expectant parents
D. $14,000   Program Fee 2: Placement fee- when the baby comes home with us from the hospital
E. $1,950   Post-Placement Report fee- covers the cost of 3 post-placement, in home assessments from our adoption specialist and the report she builds for the lawyers.
F. TBD   Legal fees- to finalize our adoption with the law

Your financial and prayerful support will mean that one day soon we will hold baby Kircher in our arms. We are grateful for your support and any help you can offer is definitely needed. No blessing is too small. ;)
