ONE FOR TAAL

Raising funds for all the families affected by the potential explosive eruption of the Taal Volcano. Proceeds will be used to buy relief goods, prioritising water, hygiene kits and medications. Goods will be bought from Landers Superstore, which has liased with the Philippine Army for the delivery of these goods. Latest: As of January 15, Six towns in Batangas were already placed under lockdown, with 38,000 people being relocated so far to over 200 evacuation centres. Nearly 44,000 people have fled the nine mile danger zone around Taal. The entire province of Cavite is placed under a state of calamity to use the calamity funds; this is to support the evacuees from Batangas. When I started joining volunteering projects, most of the time I didn't know what I had to offer until I discovered I actually did have a lot to offer. And when I organized a small charity work around this time Iast year, it was just out of a personal and secret project/goal, until more and more people (my friends and family) joined to help me, that I realized the value of "collective effort." The more resources available, the more results can be produced, the more people we can help. You may think you have little to offer but multiple people making smaller donation means more eyes and hearts on the problem. This was a huge lesson I learned in giving. So any amount will do.
