Walking the Three Peaks So Children Can Walk
We are raising money to provide walking support for children in Tanzania who don’t have access to basic aids that would allow them to walk on their own.
A close friend recently went to Tanzania and shared videos of children who are unable to walk and have to move through the mud in their village just to get from place to place — purely because basic mobility support is not financially affordable to them, and the systems and support we have here don’t exist for them. Seeing this made it clear that something practical has to be done.
This fundraiser exists for one purpose only:
to provide walking aids and mobility support for these children.
To raise this money I will be walking the UK Three Peaks — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — in under 24 hours as a physical commitment alongside this fundraiser.
To be completely clear and transparent:
All funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward walking and mobility support for the children
I will personally cover all costs related to the challenge, including transport and logistics
Donations will not be used for personal expenses, travel, or accommodation
The Three Peaks challenge and the delivery of walking support in Tanzania will be documented, with updates shared here on GoFundMe. The journey will also be documented on social media so you can see the impact your donations have. Details will be shared at a later stage.
I’ve been blessed with a strong and able body, and I want to use it to help children who currently do not have that freedom.
Thank you to every single person who is willing to help. I can’t carry this out without your help. No government or family is coming to help them, so we have to.
