One brick at a time towards Julienne's orphanage vision
Donation protected
- Hello friends, My name is Julienne Asou from a country called Cameroun in Africa, my humble parents were farmers. As the last baby from my mother's womb, I grew up in a very big family, and our house was always full of a lot of children like cousins, friends, and family. Growing up, I dreamed of having a big family like that. I also loved being around kids, I enjoyed taking care of them, feeding them and washing their clothes.
- While I live in Africa, I found myself helping at the Catholic orphanage for 4 good years without salary, and I was happy to serve. Later on, I was teaching at Sunday school, where I found myself again around the little ones, and I was very satisfied. As a missionary send to go into nations to serve God and humans kind, my heart inclines with compassion to help the hopeless with food, clothes and other things that I was able to afford from my own pocket. All these experiences helped in nurturing my everlasting dream that one day I will rescue children from very poor families, from the street, from rejection, from sexual abuse to provide them a safe atmosphere with parental love, care, education and raise them up according to God's will, that is our mission.
- According to UNICEF, there are 1,300,000 children in Cameroon without biological parents. I am in the process of opening " The Mother of Many Nations " orphanage in Cameroun, reason I created this fund because it takes money to get a clean, safe place for children, nice rooms, clothes, and a lot of food. They need people with a loving heart, lots of patience, and understanding people to help out who won't hurt any child. THE CHALLENGE we have now is to provide them a home we already found and have a need of $ 4,320.00, which correspond to $ 360.00 every month (rent). But the reality is that the owner wants one year in advance. The second need is $ 1,638.00 for 5 twins beds and 10 mattresses. Our goal to collect is $ 5,958.00 . In the meantime, we already have the church ready to start their duties, the women of the church will volunteer 24/7 in the care for these children. We give God praise for your contribution in this matter. We want you to know that every amount you contribute today represents one brick you are adding to the construction of this vision called " The Mother of Many Nations." We will always keep you in prayer, and in return, please keep these kids in prayer also.
- Of note: My sister in Christ Leira Santana are in the process of creating a 501c3 non profit, we need 2 more people that share our vision for board of directors. Also the goverment on Cameroun asks for us to have an actual bulding (place) to start the process of legal paperwork to open the orphanage, so obatnaing this rented home is crucial to the process.
