ONCE UPON A (CALL) TIME, six fairytale characters jumped through pages, out of books, and from libraries to come together and combine their unique talents to create a film in only 64 hours!

Our team is made up of six young filmmakers--Aglaya, Bluebelle, Fiona, Lowe, Nico, and Oscar--who are all seniors in the Cinematic Arts department at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and have been making films for 4 years, winning awards for writing, producing, VFX, and best film! Every year, our school hosts its 64 Hour Film Festival, encouraging students to collaborate across art departments and work together to write, film, and edit a short film, incorporating required locations, props, lines of dialogue, and more, in just 64 hours (one weekend)!!!

LACHSA is a tuition-free, public high school that relies on donations in order to provide amazing opportunities for students such as using industry-standard equipment, learning from working professionals, and visiting top studios in LA.
