We’re The Scrubs, a six-member “surgical team” of film students from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). Our latest patient? A short film that needs to be written, shot, and edited in just 64 hours! That's fueled by caffeine, creativity, and maybe a few emotional checkups. On September 19th, our “operation” will premiere at the LACHSA Cinema 64-hour film festival, and we want to leave the audience with their jaws dropped, of course in the best way. Here’s where you can scrub in and help. Any donation, big or small, will keep our cameras rolling and our creative hearts beating. 64 Hour Film Festival is a contest in which teams of filmmakers are assigned a genre, a character name, a prop, a line of dialogue, a sound effect, a camera angle, and have 64 hours to create a short film containing those elements. Our team is called fresh productions, and we need help raising funds to go towards LACHSA for this event! We're doing our best to raise the most money and we would love donations!

Hi, we are a team of freshmen student filmmakers, and we’re excited to share an opportunity to support the Los Angeles High School for the Arts Foundation, and the Student Filmmakers of the LACHSA Cinematic Arts Department! We currently have an exciting film festival called 64 film festival right around the corner. During this festival students write, direct, film, and edit a short film during the span of one weekend! The department has set up a competitive fundraising competition among the participating teams. The team who raises the most money will get extreme advantages and perks during the film festival, that can make or break a teams film. This is where you come in! Another bonus to donating — all donations go towards making my school a better place and funding better film equipment and supplies for us to use! 64 Film Festival Fundraiser! We are a part of the LACHSA cinematic department and are also a team a part of the 64 LACHSA Film Festival. The highest funded team receives extra equipment and important stuff which would be VERY helpful for our film. We write, film, edit EVERYTHING! In ONLY 64 hours so we would be very grateful for any donation we can get to help our film and school. Friday the 64th is a team of 5 students from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) participating in the 64 Hour Film Festival, and competing to raise money for our school's Cinematic Arts program.

By donating to the project, you'll be helping to support young filmmakers and helping us get perks to make our film even better. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Lachsa Foundation, which was established to help young artists flourish.

During the weekend of September 5th, Juliana Diaz, Lilly O'Brien, Marcello Farago, Lukas Shen, and Santiago Orellana will have 64 hours to write, produce, and edit a film based on a given prompt, where it will then be judged and compared against other films and showcased on September 19th at 7 pm in the LACHSA amphitheater.

Lucky Number is a senior lead 64 Hour Film Festival team with 1 goal and 1 goal alone: To win our souls back from the LACHSA Cinematic Arts Department. After a little bit of gambling, we just so happened to lose everything and sign a deal with Drew McClellan and the only way to stay on this mortal plane is to win an award at the subsequent film festival.

In order to have funding for such a feat, we need your help! We're running... a little lower on funds currently (see: gambling) and need all hands on deck in order to complete our next offering to the Cinema Department: a small sum of $10,000! Spread the word, and help us spare our souls!

Hi! We are a team of Senior students at the LA County High School for the Arts. Our team is made up of passionate student filmmakers and artists who are committed to making the best film we can! At the beginning of every year, we band together in teams to make a film within the span of one weekend.
