Hello! My name is George and I’m walking across America in support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities as well as financial and reading literacy - things I’m very passionate about.
Starting the last week of April, I am committing 6 months of my life to walk over 3,000 miles from New York to California - ocean to ocean.
Through life experiences, my eyes have been opened to the cultural and historical impact of these colleges and universities and I hope to open the eyes of others as well. Did you know HBCU alumni have given us GPS, 3D, Digital Wireless Networks, and other amazing contributions to the world?
Come with me on this journey across America - a slow moving community where we can walk and talk and have real connections with each other.
