It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Evelyn Baker on March 27th, 2023 due to rapid onset complications associated with pneumonia. Evelyn passed peacefully in the company of her beloved children and grandchildren, whom she dedicated her life to. Our hearts are with the Baker family in this time, and with the larger community of people Evelyn has touched. Evelyn was a firecracker - with her playful sense of humor she brought everyone into the fold, regardless of age or circumstance. Evelyn’s impact will be felt for years to come in our community. She was a protector, a provider, and her greatest joy in life was her beloved family.

Evelyn was generous in all aspects of her life, and many have asked how they can show the same generosity to Evelyn's children and family in this time of loss. Support received from this fundraiser will go towards funeral expenses and the costs to settle Evelyn’s end of life affairs.

Evelyn's memorial service is to be held at 11am on April 13th, 2023 at The Ark, followed by graveside service at 12:30, and finally a potluck reception at The Arc. Food contributions welcome. Please join us in loving community to celebrate Evelyn's life & legacy.
