On Friday 28th July, Matthew Daulby went out for a drink with friends in Ormskirk and tragically didn’t return home to his family.

We are a group of lads from Ormskirk who organise an annual 11-a-side football match between ourselves for a bit of fun. The game just so happens to be taking place this Saturday (5th August) at 12:00pm at Edge Hill University.

In light of recent events, we have decided to use this opportunity for those playing in the match, and some of our parents/friends, to raise some cash for Matthew’s family to use in any way they see fit. Obviously, any donations from the wider community would also be gratefully received.

We are all truly saddened by Matthew’s passing, and our deepest condolences go out to his family and all his friends.
