Omar es padre, hermano, hijo abuelo, tío y amigo, pero sobre todo, es un alma libre y llena de vida. Siempre ha sido el primero en sacar una sonrisa con sus bromas, el que transmite su amor por el mar y la aventura, y el que encuentra felicidad en cada ola que surfea. Tiene 64 años y ha construido su vida en torno al surf, los deportes acuáticos y la energía única de Margarita.

Su mundo cambió significativamente de la noche a la mañana cuando fue diagnosticado con cáncer de páncreas, una enfermedad que ha avanzado rápidamente. Aún estamos a la espera de los resultados de la biopsia para determinar en qué etapa se encuentra, pero los médicos han sido claros: es urgente comenzar la quimioterapia cuanto antes.

Hasta ahora, solo cuatro días de hospitalización han generado gastos de $30.000, y cada sesión de quimioterapia tiene un costo aproximado de $2.500. Omar no cuenta con seguro ni con los recursos necesarios para costear su tratamiento, por lo que hoy recurrimos a ustedes en busca de apoyo.

Omar is a father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle and friend, but above all, he is a free soul full of life. He has always been the first to bring a smile with his jokes, the one who transmits his love for the sea and adventure, and the one who finds happiness in every wave he surfs. He is 64 years old and has built his life around surfing, water sports and Margarita's (Venezuela's most special island) unique energy.

His world changed significantly overnight when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a disease that has progressed rapidly.
