Olympic triathlon in memory of my Aunt Beverley
In 2018 Bev was given the awful news that she had stage 4 breast cancer. Not one to give up, over the next 6 and a half years B bravely fought this horrible disease with over 120 chemotherapy sessions and a bout of radiation therapy. Throughout this time Clatterbridge hospital were there to help and support B as much as they could. On 30th November 2024 sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep.
This August I will be taking part in the Ellesmere Olympic triathlon in memory of B and all the training and competing for this event will only amount to a fraction of what my aunty B had to go through during her long arduous fight with the big C. All funds raised will go to Clatterbridge hospital who helped so much along the way. Thanks for reading and if you can spare anything all donations are greatly appreciated
