Olsen Family Love & Support

Melissa and her husband Aaron had quite the scare on Monday. Their 5 year old daughter Kharis was not feeling well so Melissa took her to the doctor. The doctors discovered Kharis has type 1 diabetes and was very close to being in diabetic coma. They were in the ICU for 2.5 days and slowly watched their little girl find her smile again. They have learned a lot already this week about how to care for Kharis as she will need Dailey insulin injections.

Their insurance is not the greatest and they have already been dealing with out of pocket expenses for Melissa to undergo surgery in hopes to conceive another baby. She is set to have another surgery this July as well. The medical bills are piling up. Melissa is a loving mother and wonderful preschool teacher in our community. This family is so deserving.
