On May 4th Christopher Knight and Kailey Thanabouasy welcomed their son Oliver Knight into this crazy world at the Summerville Medical Center. Around 12 hours after his birth Ollie was breathing rapidly and his heart was beating too fast. An EKG was done and Ollie was transferred to the MUSC Children’s Hospital where it was discovered he had been born with a heart defect and at 24 hours old Ollie was taken into emergency open heart surgery. With skilled surgeons, lots of people praying and an army of angels on his side our little heart warrior came through surgery like a champ. The little guys still has a long way to go in his recovery, is currently still on a vent, and is expected to be at the hospital for at least 6 weeks. Christopher and Kailey need help to be able to stay close their newborn son. No donation is too small and will be appreciated immensely. Prayers for this sweet boy are also extremely welcomed.
