Olivia's Immersion to Sierra Leone

My name is Olivia Poszwinski and I am a current year 12 student at St Joseph's College.

I hold a strong conviction in the inherent equal worth of every individual; therefore, addressing educational barriers and healthcare challenges are imperative to me.

By experiencing the culture of Sierra Leone, and by embracing the nuances of its society, traditions, and values, I can work collaboratively with my peers towards sustainable solutions that empower the community.

To express my solidarity I will be taking part in my school's immersion in October 2024, as I am fortunate enough, where I will be able to directly support those facing these difficult circumstances, through working with the Christian Brothers.
