Last year I was diagnosed with stage four, incurable cancer. I am receiving incredibly care through the NHS and I am in the right path to get better, in the middle of an intense chemotherapy treatment.

Since this journey started I have received incredible support from family, friends, colleagues and a network of charities that help families deal with all the non-obvious difficulties that a cancer diagnosis like mine present.

One local charity in particular has been outstanding in supporting myself and my family in this difficult period, Wolo Foundation.

Wolo exists to walk alongside families affected by cancer, offering practical help and emotional support. They help families who live in Sussex and have children aged 16 or below. They support them by offering practical help and support to make their day-to-day lives better.
