O'Leary Family

Losing both parents over a short period of time is difficult to wrap one’s mind around. The O’Leary children have suffered this unimaginable loss. In the fall of 2022, Kevin, father of these children died, and now, in February of 2024, their mother, Jenny is gone too. The entire family of Melting Pot franchisees and team members’ thoughts and prayers are with Shanleigh, Liam, Nolan and Finn in this difficult season of their lives. There is nothing we can do to lessen the pain but we can be grateful that their Uncle, Denis O’Leary and his wife Jennifer, who live nearby the family home, have taken all four of the children into their home and are in the process of obtaining legal guardianship of the minor children. Their generosity of spirit is remarkable.

Though they have asked for nothing, The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. felt moved to assist this family with the unexpected expenses of caring for four children in addition to their own three children, Alannah, Griffin and Zachary O’Leary. We have directly made a $10,000 donation to the family and have applied to the Melting Pot Family & Belonging Foundation to make a matching donation.
