With devastating sadness, we are opening this GoFundMe in support of Cindy Oldford and her children Alison, Mitch and Jen. Cindy was out camping in Ontario at Bon Echo Provincial Park on Saturday May 21, 2022 when a tree fell on her in an unexpected storm that devastated the area. Her injuries are extensive as she shattered both ankles, experienced an abdominal rupture, had to have her spleen removed, and much more.

Over the last couple days, Cindy has started to come around, she's been responsive to questions and is showing happiness at having her children and family close by. However, she remains in hospital and awaits more surgeries and has not been able to communicate verbally yet. We are extremely concerned for her and want to support her and the family in any way we can. Cindy's recovery will be long, and she will likely be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

We've started this fundraiser to help raise money to pay for household expenses for Cindy while she's in the hospital and to help pay for any additional physical therapy she might need once she's back home. Donations will also be used to help family cover costs of staying close by so they can be there to support and encourage Cindy through her recovery. Every day is a little bit better for her, but we want to help make sure that all the stress outside of her recovery is taken care of so she can focus on getting better.

If you would like to help, please consider donating to this fundraiser and consider sharing this GoFundMe so others may also help. If you are unable to donate, please keep Cindy and the family in your thoughts and prayers, every little bit of love helps immensely.
