Older family members that need constant care.

Once upon a time, small communities banded together to support the elderly in their midst. In my lifetime, we have witnessed the struggles faced by the older generation - the challenges of living on a fixed income, the loneliness of isolation, and the uncertainty of accessing the help they desperately needed. How many times have you said to a friend that you feel sorry for an older person who has passed a comment (most of the time, cheerfully) about loneliness or some form of care they are missing? Age UK provides activities, companionship, financial advice, financial support, and many other great services.

I kindly ask that you support me in my endeavor to run the Manchester Marathon on behalf of the older generation that built the foundations of this country. I have put in six months of dedicated training up to now to support such a cause. However little or large, every donation will be greatly appreciated.
