Ohio to Erie Run Club 2023 Diaper Drive

In the Ohio to Erie Run Club, we are creating an opportunity for incarcerated people to prove to themselves, their families, the community, and maybe even future employers that they are capable of doing amazing things by supporting them in their running goals.

On January 14th, the volunteers at the Ohio to Erie Run Club will be donating and wrapping as many diapers as we can to be donated to Cincinnati families in need through the Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank. We hope that this may help some of the communities that our runners grew up in or still have family members in today that they cannot support over the holidays. There are currently 16,000 babies in the Cincinnati area who are in need of diapers.

Some of the funds will go towards donating diapers and the rest of the funds will support our program in 2023. In our first year this year, our biggest cost was purchasing running shoes to the runners who earned them. We also used funds for energy bars and a few other small expenses. We expect those two sources to be the biggest use of our funds in 2023. Please help us in our quest to reduce the number of Cincinnati babies that need diapers and to put running shoes on some guys that just want a second chance at doing some good.
