Off-Road Freedom for Emily

Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
This is Emily and she is 8 years old. Emily was born with a very rare disease called Sjogren-Larsson Syndrome. Part of this disease is having cerebral palsy which affects her legs and mental state. Which makes finding activities for her to participate in very difficult for her and us as family. One thing Emily loves to do is go "bye-bye". We have tried taking Emily on a small hike before and she loved it, though for us her parents, it was very difficult because her wheelchair could not go on the trail. We have recently been looking into off road wheelchairs that we could use for her to go on hiking trails and at the beach. We are trying to find more ways to be able to include her in more activities that we can all do as a family outdoors. The Huckleberry Hiking wheelchairs allows us to pull Emily but still gives her the ability to do hiking trails and outside activities with us. As most people know equipment for special needs people is not cheap and we would like the help of family, friends, and our community to be able to help Emily be more included. For more information on this wheelchair, I have included the site that we would be ordering from, if you have the time and opportunity, please look at the website that shows all the information surrounding the wheelchair. https://huckleberryhiking.com/
