Hi my name is Courtney McCollum and my husband is Truman McCollum. So many asked to donate, and we thank you in advance for your support. Burger King employees called 911 for medical assistance for a man newly experiencing a seizure in his car in their drive-thru after he made a coherent food order with no problems. Instead, Killeen police showed up and tased Truman MANY TIMES INSIDE the ambulance while he was still coming out of the seizure confused, and where paramedics had taken him for treatment. Over and over they tased my husband, injuring Truman's shoulder and causing other injuries. They affected our lives in a horrible way that we can never forget, and we have two young sons who saw the videos of them tasing their dad online.

Then, police falsely charged Truman with crimes, which a Judge in Killeen ruled they lacked probable cause, but the Prosecutor is still pressing forward. Before they did this to Truman, my husband was a full-time truck driver supporting his family and our nation, even one of the essential truckers who drove during the pandemic to help keep America stocked with supplies. The false charges by police have interfered with his ability to work full-time and get better trucking jobs with benefits as before due to the open criminal charges. And despite the Judge's ruling, the Prosecutor won't drop the charges, which is keeping the case open. Truman is a husband and father, I am a second-year teacher and serve our country in the Army Reserve. We have kids in school. The prosecutor has been keeping this case open for over a year. Many times, the Prosecution has tried to get him to plead guilty to their false charges or they will take it to trial. Truman is fighting for his rights. What they did to our family is an ongoing nightmare.
