Officer Frank Congleton Jr.

Hi my name is Krissy and I am fundraising on behalf if my cousin Frank Congleton Jr and his family. As most of you know, Frankie was admitted into Morristown Medical Center on Friday evening, September 29th. His wife Cathy brought him to the ER because he was not well. After multiple tests, it was determined that Frankie was in fact in septic shock from a severe infection in his blood stream. The medical team took immediate action starting IV antibiotics and blood pressure medicationto keep his blood pressure stable, however, by the following evening Frankie had to be incubated and put on a ventilator as he was having difficulty breathing. Further testing showed his kidneys were failing and liver values were through the roof so the medical team started him on round the clock dialysis.

The source of infection was from a psoriasis flare up that Frankie scratched opened and never got treated. The surgeons debrided Frankie's calf where the infection originated. He has strep A bacteria in his blood which is bad. The Doctors are doing everything they can to make sure Frankie pulls through this. He has a long road ahead of him for recovery as we do not know how much damage his kidneys and liver have from the infection. We won't know until the infection is cleared and he has further testing done. We are asking for donations to help Frankie's family as he is the primary source of income for the household.
