Officer down- south memphis shooting

Hey, my name is Jennifer and I am helping fundraise for my second family, the Looneys. We all work in Memphis for the police department.

My friend and brother, got shot at and struck by a round in the thigh by a suspect who decided it was a good idea to shoot at the police. Looney is an amazing brother and an even better officer working in South Memphis. The shooting took place on a Thursday night while he was checking an armed party call half a mile from the precinct. The suspect fired shots at both him and his partner, striking both officers in the leg. Looney was able to get off of the mark without standing right next to his partner during the incident making it harder for the suspect to get both at one time.

I am raising funds to help the family in this time of need. Anywhere from groceries for the family to gas money to get to Dr appts. This is one of those times when you are at the high because life is going great, then bam! Life blind sides you. The important of this fundraiser is to show the support system everyone needs to make it. Life gets hard but there are amazing good hearted people out there that will help no matter what the situation is.
