Officer Down Memorial Run

In 2019, 118 officers have died while in the line of duty. On January 1st, 2020, Officer Joshua Hendry of the Bentonville Police Department and member of the Bentonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #70 will run a lap for every Law Enforcement Official who has died in 2019. Officer Hendry will run the event at Old Tiger Stadium Park, 517 Tiger Blvd, in Bentonville, AR beginning at 7:30am.
“With every lap of the track covering ¼ of a mile, Officer Hendry will run a total of 29.50 miles. The event is expected to last approximately 6 hours. Several members of the running community are planning on joining Officer Hendry for portions of his run. Anyone interested in observing, supporting, or joining Officer Hendry in his efforts to recognize fallen law enforcement officer’s are welcome to attend.
The Bentonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #70 is collecting donations for the event. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Officer Down Memorial on behalf of the Bentonville FOP while attending National Police Week in May 2020
