OCO IDEVAW dragonboaters Fundraiser

The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman Working together to Raise Funds for an Important Cause

The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman is challenging the big departments to raise funds for a good cause on International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Support our volunteer SES paddlers Daring Dermot, Powerhouse Paul and Get-up-and-go George and help raise funds for the Domestic Violence Crisis Service and Beryl Foundation.

On Friday 25 November 2016 six Commonwealth departments will get together to mark this important day by converging to Nara Peace Park for a BBQ and a ‘celebrity SES’ dragon boat race at Lotus Bay.

Come along for the walk and help cheer our team to victory.  We may be a small crew but we make up for it in commitment and support.  Donate now and don’t forget to mark this date in your calendars.
