This year the Attorney-General's Department's Women’s Network and White Ribbon Network invite AGD staff to help raise funds for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on Friday 25 November.
Six Commonwealth departments will get together to mark the important day by converging on Lotus Bay for a BBQ and 'celebrity SES' dragon boat race.
Come and cheer on our Secretary, Chris Moraitis and the rest of his SES dream team Leanne Close, Sarah Chidgey and Matthew Blunn!!
Support them and donate to the Domestic Violence Crisis Service and Beryl Women.
Canberra's frontline services are constantly struggling for resources so this is a great way to pitch in and help them to provide vital assistance to women and girls who are victims and survivors of violence.
Join us for the walk on 25 November to Lotus Bay (Nara Peace Park) featuring a BBQ fundraiser and SES dragonboat race. You're encouraged to wear white!
