OCC for NYC Lets Make a Difference
Donation protected
Olivier Cheng Catering and Events is proud to announce an initiative to feed fellow New Yorkers in need. At a time when the event and food service industry is facing unknown challenges, we are choosing not to give up but to give back.

More than ever, we recognize the role that we can play to bring hope and nourishment to our city. So, we are putting our empty kitchen and underutilized team, back to work, feeding our community.
We are creating an essential food service force for people facing food hardships and our frontline workers. OCC for NYC’s initial goal is 1500 meals a week through the month of May and will continue as long as it is financially and logistically feasible. Additionally, we hope to expand our initiative during this crisis based on the ability to raise funds. We are aware that our industry, like so many others will take quite some time to heal and resume to normalcy. In the interim, we want to use our infrastructure and resources to help others.

A special thank sour OCC volunteer family and generous vendors including: The Chef’s Warehouse, Cuisine Solutions and Bednark Studios. Together, we have mobilized an incredible volunteer program to produce meals for those in need.
Our current food donations are directed to the following agencies including the frontline workers of NYU Langone Brooklyn:
Red Rabbit – provides meals for low income children and to families in need. Outreach includes the Coney Island NYCHA Houses, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza and the Variety Boys & Girls Club (http://www.myredrabbit.com)
Fountain House – a not-for-profit providing residential, day and community habilitation services for those that have been managing mental illness (https://www.fountainhouse.org)
Special Citizens Futures United – a not-for-profit providing residential, day and community habilitation services for the developmentally challenged, specializing in those with autism
(https://www.specialcitizens.org)

Please consider helping us continue to make this magic happen. 100% of your donations will go towards this initiative. Anything you can give will help provide meals. No donation is too small. Hunger will only grow during this crisis.
