OATA Member's SMM

If the BOD does not hold a SMM within 21 days of receiving such a request, the members are allowed to hold their own SMM. (Ontario) Corporations Act, Section 295 is the relevant bylaw that allows the members to hold their own SMM in this manner.

To do so, the members must pay for the costs of the meeting. The intention is to hire a neutral moderator and use a virtual meeting platform with an integrated secure online voting system.

Please let your voice be heard. Support and attend the SMM. Please be reminded that a SMM is an opportunity to discuss a matter. Only after a wholesome discussion will any decision be made.
