Oakley’s Challenge – Supporting Bolton Hospice & Bolton Parish School!
11 years old Oakley is taking on an endurance challenge to push himself to the limit while raising money for two amazing causes. He will be swimming 1/4 mile, cycling 10 miles, and jogging 7 miles—all in one go! This is a huge test of his determination and resilience, and he’s ready to give it his all.
Oakley is doing this as as a representative of the Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group, which will donate all funds raised. 80% of the donations will go to Bolton Hospice, a vital charity providing compassionate care and support to those in need. The remaining 20% will go towards Bolton Parish School’s leavers’ trip, helping to create lasting memories for local children as they move on to their next chapter.
He will be aiming to arrive at the ToughSheet Stadium before kick off of the home game V Bristol Rovers. He will be supported by the team at Minutes Matter who will be following him as his first aid support. This isn’t about setting records—it’s about proving that with determination and effort, anything is possible.
If you’d like to support Oakley on this incredible journey, please consider donating. Donations go direct to BWRG to distribute accordingly. Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference. Let’s get behind him and show our support for these fantastic causes!
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement!
