Oakland Black Cowboy Association is facing a serious financial hardship and lost its entire budget, just weeks before our Annual Parade & Heritage Festival on Saturday, October 4th.

For the first time in our 51 year history, we are coming to the community and asking for your support and assistance. We are also seeking legal resources at this time.

Any donations will go towards making sure this 51st Annual Parade & Heritage Festival takes place, despite the great odds against us. We know, together, we can and will overcome this challenge and keep the legacy of OBCA alive.

We proudly carry forward the untold stories of the Black pioneers who shaped the American West. Through parades, educational outreach, and cultural programs, we keep this rich heritage alive while building a stronger and more inclusive community.
