Hi, my name is Cecy Longaker and I am traveling to Brazil to help an organization called Hope Unlimited that serves the street children of Brazil. There are millions of children on the streets in Brazil and most of them only last 3 to 4 years living this way. Hope Unlimited is an award-winning residential program that provides tranformational care while equipping these children to live successful, productive lives as adult members of society. I am beyond excited to be able to go here for several reasons: I was born in Brazil while my father was working there and even though we moved back to the states when I was 2, the Brazilian people are dear to my heart; I haven't been on a mission trip since my 20s; I have supported this organization for many years; and lastly, it has been a year since my last chemotherapy for ovarian cancer and I can't wait to share my joy and love with children who have endured so much!

The cost of the trip includes airfare, housing, food and a Brazilian visa. I will be painting, sorting and arranging in their thirft shops, caring for the children with singing, playing games, and throwing a birthday party to show how special each one of these precious children are to God and to us.
To reach my financial goal, I am asking you to help with a one-time gift. If all my friends and family were able to give just $10, 15 or 20, it would provide enough for me to go and possibly help sponser another person to go.
