Jeff and I have have recently been asked by a beautiful young lady to adopt her unborn baby girl. While unexpected and sudden this is an extremely exciting, emotional, rewarding, and scary process for our family. We have been blessed in our lives with raising 4 children and have decided to accept this responsibility to provide for another. Jeff and I know we are meant to raise this little girl. We have a loving home that is the base of our family values and know she will fit right in.
While we are very excited this was just a recent decision made by the expecting mother. This blessing is due to enter this world on March 22nd just a short 2 weeks away. As you can imagine this is a very expensive process. We are looking for help in brining her home. The Legal costs, needs for the baby, and travel are all out of our reach. We just didn't have the time to prepare for this life event.
I would like to take a minute to introduce my family and give you a little bit of our background. My husband Jeff and I have been married 14 years this Summer and have 4 amazing kids. We have 2 girls both in college, and 2 boys, 1 a senior heading off to college this fall and our 11 year old in 5th grade. We recently relocated just north of Boston when Jeff was fortunate enough to find employment after being laid off from his employer of 26 years.
9 years ago we made a choice to leave sunny and pricey Southern California to follow his company to the midwest. This was an amazing new beginning for our family in a small Ohio town where we raised our children up until a year ago. We built our life in the midwest and never expected to leave in the manner we did after relocating with the very company that laid him off. This life change was financially draining for us. We are so fortunate to both currently have employment, so we continue to pick up the pieces that crumbled so quickly. We have put the past behind us and we are begining to rebuild again.
We are humbled to the point of asking for support in this process as we are doing everything in our means to bring Ava into our home. Any amount of support and prayers for our family through this process is more than appreciated.
