Thank you so everyone who donated to my last campaign, which brought a group of talented dancers from an underprivileged part of Brazil to New York City to perform at the Brazil Foundation’s gala. In this time of fear and uncertainty, my mother (Ilana Lipsztein) and I have teamed up to help the most inspirational person I have ever met. Cesar Gouveia was born and raised in the Vila Prudente, a major slum in Brazil. He worked extremely hard to complete graduate school in Journalism. He followed his dream of bringing education, sports, and professional training to the families in the community he was raised in. Cesar Gouveia started his organization at 19 years old and is exceptionally successful in helping 90,000 families. This campaign will support the efforts of the NGO Vozes da Periferia. It will provide essential food and cleaning products for 400 families living in this area who have been drastically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. He and his team will send a basket of essential supplies to every family in need. Each basket costs $15 and will help feed a family. With tough times ahead, we would love for you to support Cesar’s efforts in any way you can. Together we can help return the world to what it once was and protect those most vulnerable. Leaders like Cesar are needed now more than ever.
