Help us get toys for NYC's homeless children

Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a member of the New York City Ghostbusters, a fan group that loves to spread our love for Ghostbusters and raise money for local charities. Every year, we raise money for a homeless shelter in NYC, but during Christmas time, we focus our efforts on participating in toy drives for the city's children who are in homeless shelters. This year, we've decided to reach out to the public to help out with funds towards the toy drive.

 

In doing so, we are running our first ever Live Toy Drive Telethon on Tuesday, Dec 14, at 7 pm on YouTube (click here for a link to our live stream). We will be raising funds and using the funds to purchase toys for pick up at a local store in NYC. We will be bringing it to them this Friday in an effort to get it out to all the children who need them.

 

As part of the telethon, we will be interviewing different members of Ghostbusters fan groups all over the nation. We're not the only Ghostbusters group who does charity work, and we're fortunate enough to give the stream time to other groups out there who are running or have ran their own toy drives before, as well as other charities they have worked with this year.
