Dear Friends,
During these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, our lives have been forever altered. Some of us are fortunate to have our loved ones safe, and a steady source of income. Hundreds of thousands have succumbed to this virus, and millions are in desperate need of food and shelter - our most basic human necessity.
A few of us have decided to walk the NYC Virtual Marathon 2020 - https://www.nyrr.org/Races/VirtualTCSNewYorkCityMarathonRunForTheMedal. We will hike 26.2 miles (some will hike a shorter distance) on October 17, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, we will walk the following weekend.
Our Venue is the Delaware and Raritan Canal Trail - https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-jersey/delaware-and-raritan-canal-trail
We have also decided to fundraise for a local charity offering assistance to those in need - https://livingredemption.org/
If you can afford to sponsor us, we sincerely appreciate the gesture and thank you in advance for your kindness. If you can't contribute, we understand - but please take a moment to send well wishes to those who are less fortunate. We are all in this together.
Many thanks - Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and God Bless you and yours
