NYC Virtual Marathon

As a senior at Villanova, I had the unique opportunity to be a member of the inaugural class of Fellows with Team IMPACT. During my time as a Fellow, I learned all about Team IMPACT and became extremely passionate about their work and mission. Earlier this year I was lucky enough to receive a bib from the Team IMPACT GoTeam to run the 2020 Chicago Marathon. Unfortunately, the event was recently cancelled, but I decided to not let that stop me from raising money and awareness for an organization that is so near and dear to my heart! SO, I am officially registered to run the 2020 VIRTUAL TSC NYC MARATHON this October!

More information about Team IMPACT: Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit that connects kids facing serious and chronic illness with college athletic teams, forming life-long bonds and life-changing outcomes. Kids become a member of college athletic teams just like any other collegiate student-athlete, from signing-day to practice to the locker room to the field, court, course, or pool. Not only do the kids and their families benefit from joining the culture of a college sports team, but the student-athletes learn core values like empathy, camaraderie, and responsibility, as well as gaining a new teammate and friend!
