With the event world on hold, floral freelancers find themselves without any work and months of uncertainty ahead. Freelancers are the life force of the floral world, hustling week after week bringing their all to each designer they work for. They often support themselves gig to gig and heavily rely on the flush of seasonal work that Spring promises. Because they are 1099ed, it's much harder for them to get any kind of unemployment benefits. For this reason, I'm crowd funding to make sure our freelance community can keep a roof over their head and food on their plates for these next few months. This time is uncertain for so many and there are so many incredible people to support. My hope is that if you know someone in this community or feel akin to the flower world, this will speak to you.
