Help Fund the Nyack Holiday Promenade 12.12.21

Given the enormous success and popularity of the Halloween Promenade, we are putting together a "Holiday Promenade" in mid-December to help celebrate the season with:

 

• ornament- and dreidel-painting crafts for the kids.
• wreath-building. 
• roving carolers and musicians. 
• a gift fair open air market. 
• Santa lighting the tree.
• And much, much more!

 

As part of the Holiday Promenade, we will close the downtown streets to traffic and let the businesses and restaurants expand into the street, providing lots of room for strolling, shopping, and dining.  This could be a fun event that might really help support our local merchants. 

 

The challenge is this: WE HAVE NO MONEY. None. Closing the streets to keep everyone safe costs at least  $5,000. We don't have it. 

 

So we are raising money through donations from generous donors who might want to help make this a reality. Any amount helps, and everyone who gives even $1 will be thanked on the promotional website for the event. 

 

And for those who can contribute at least $50, we have some special gifts!

 

• $50 gets you a limited edition “Nyack Ski Cap” designed and created by our friends at Sniff-a-Pickle on South Broadway.  You’ll have your commemorative hat by the Promenade date, so you can wear it at the event to show your support. 
• $100 gets you the Nyack Ski Cap and one ticket to a special “Thank You Holiday Toast” during the Holiday Promenade with your fellow donors, with champagne, wine, and some light passed apps. 

We will also offer sponsorships of the event, where your name or logo will be prominently displayed on the event website and poster:

• $500: Gold Level
• $1000: Platinum Level
• $2,500: Diamond Level which includes “above-the-fold” naming rights. 

We need $5,000 to make this event a reality for everyone, and give us a truly fun way to celebrate the holidays. 

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FUNDRAISING WILL BE COORDINATED PRIVATELY BY JOE RAND, WILL BE 100% DEDICATED TO THE EVENT, AND IS NOT BEING RAISED BY THE VILLAGE OF NYACK.
