As many people may not be aware, our dad has been struggling with his health for some time now. He has been so weak that it’s been difficult for him to work. His hemoglobin levels have dropped dangerously low, requiring multiple blood transfusions, with readings as low as 6.7—levels that can be life-threatening.

On February 6th, he underwent upper and lower scopes, which confirmed tumors in his colon and stomach. Just yesterday, February 11th, he was diagnosis of Renal Cell Carcinoma after a CT scan revealed primary cancer tumor in his left kidney, which has unfortunately spread to his spleen, stomach, colon, liver, and lymph nodes. There is too high of a risk to do surgery so going forward he will be seeing an Oncologist looking for next treatment steps.

Both of my parents have been unable to work during this challenging time, and my dad does not have insurance. We are reaching out for help to raise funds to cover their medical expenses.
