The Norman Weekes Foundation funds children and young adults to pursue their dreams in sports.⁠ It all started with two sisters wanting to help the youth in their community through sports in honour of their late father.

Norman Weekes also known as Coach Norm was born May 5, 1968, in Montreal, Quebec. He passed away at the tender age of 52 on July 8, 2020. ⁠From a young age, Coach played many sports which included American football, basketball and baseball. He developed an insurmountable amount of love for the game of football. He played for many moons and coached a few organizations, for about 3 decades!⁠

Coach loved his role, fulfilling it at an exceptional level. He always made sure the kids had fun but also made sure they received a certain amount of discipline.⁠ He wanted them to understand what it meant to work hard and have confidence within! He also wanted the kids to leave the game knowing that they were the best regardless if society thought they were the best or not.

For this reason, his legacy needs to continue.⁠

La Fondation Norman Weekes finance les enfants et les jeunes adultes à poursuivre leurs rêves dans les sports. Ceci a commencer avec deux soeurs qui avaient un désir d'aider les jeunes dans leur communauté à travers les sports, en honneur de leur défunt père.

Norman Weekes aussi connu comme Coach Norm est né le 5 mai 1968 à Montréal, Québec. Il a rendu l'âme à l'age tendre de 52 ans, le 8 juillet 2020. Depuis sa jeunesse, Coach participait à plusieurs sports incluant le football américain, le basket et le baseball. Il a developé un amour insurmontable en particulier pour le football. Il a joué pendant de nombreuses lunes, et il était un entraineur pour plusieures organisations pour presque 3 décennies!

Coach adorait son rôle, et il était un des exceptionel. Il s'assurait que les jeunes s'amusaient bien, tout en étant sûr qu'ils recevaient une certaine discipline. Il voulait que ces jeunes comprennent l'importance de travailler fort et avoir la confiance en soi! Il voulait que le temps venu de quitter le terrain de jeu, ces jeunes savaient qu'ils étaient les meilleurs même si la société croyait qu'ils l'étaients ou non.

Pour cette raison, son héritage doit continuer.
