Almost 2 years ago our family lost our father far too soon. He was taken from us in a way that still doesn’t feel real—and the hole it left in our lives is impossible to explain.
My dad was the definition of hardworking. For most of his life he worked long hours—often two jobs at a time—because providing for his family mattered more to him than anything. He was only a couple of months away from a well-deserved retirement, something he talked about constantly. Not because he wanted to stop being productive… but because he was finally going to get time back—time with the people he loved.
Outside of work, music was his joy. He built a collection of drums and string instruments and loved sharing his talent with others. If you knew him, you knew his music. If you didn’t, you still might’ve seen him online—he’d post videos playing on Facebook and TikTok with that quiet pride that made everyone smile.
Because he worked so much, the time we got with him was precious. We were counting down the days until retirement, when we could finally spend more time together and make up for all the moments work demanded from him. We never got that chance.
We’re raising funds to cover the legal expenses connected to pursuing accountability and justice in our father’s case—attorney fees, court costs, filings, and related expenses. These costs add up quickly, and we don’t want finances to be the reason our family can’t continue pushing forward.
If you’re able to donate, any amount truly helps. If you can’t, we completely understand—sharing this page, leaving a message, or keeping our family in your thoughts means more than you know.
Thank you for taking a moment to read about our dad. Thank you for helping us honor him. And thank you for standing with our family as we fight to make sure this never happens to anyone else.
With gratitude,
