On the night of April 8th, 2026, a fire ignited at an apartment complex in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The complex was soon fully engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, our coworker and fellow teacher, Melissa, resided in that complex with her husband, 14-year-old daughter, 25-year-old son, and two cats that have not been located. They are all unharmed physically, but their home is a total loss, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their car.

Melissa has been an integral part of the Kids Town USA daycare family for many years. Her cheery spirit and loving attention towards all children is unmatched. We believe that it is our turn to care for one of our own and help Mrs. Melissa and her family to purchase some necessary essentials that were lost to the fire.
