Hi, my name is AlMotasem Al-Zenati, I'm 30 years old. I'm married and I have a 4 years old boy called Ahmed. We were a normal loving family with dreams and ambitions until we woke up to the sound of bombing, a sound that we haven’t heard in a while, the sound of war. In a the matter of few days Gaza has been devastated and leveled to the ground and we were forced to leave our home after a few houses next to our house were bombed and its innocent inhabitants killed with cold blood. As we left our house, we reached the city of Khan Younis south of Gaza, where we had to move a lot in overcrowded streets to get barely available daily necessities. As a result of these circumstances, I have broken my joint as I had Sarcoid pulmonary fibrosis and my life became seriously compromised.

The situation after that only got worse, my lovely wife who was diagnosed with diabetes 20 years ago and had a retinal detachment in her right eye lost her left eye due to an airstrike that destroyed a house next to us while we were moving from place to place as there was no safe place in the entirety of Gaza.

One day while we were resting in our tent, a neighbor came to inform us that our lovely house, which we have been living in for a happy 10 years has been bombed and destroyed without a trace.

As war continued our health has only gotten worse, Ahmed became malnourished due to the lack of food and clean water and we only got sicker with every passing day. We need this to be able to cover the cost of escaping from Gaza, as the cost of coordinating travel outside Gaza costs from 5,000 to 7,000 dollars per person, meaning we need approximately 25000 dollars in addition to living expenses and i need 9000 dollars to make surgery to my joint and my wife need 3000 dollars to treat here eye . I only need some help to travel aboard to treat my damaged joint and treat my wife eye. and escaping with my family to hopefully recover from all the devastation that we have witnessed in Gaza.
