A family in need ♥️

Hi my name is Leanne, I’ve set up this go fund me page in order to try and raise some money for 2 of my closest friends and their little family

I will be entering to run in the Hastings half marathon to support raising as much money as possible!!

in July 2023 my friends welcomed their tiny baby into this world 2 months too early this was due to baby having many complications, which were only found later on in the pregnancy.

Even just at hours old this tiny baby had to undergo a 10 hour surgery! My friends obviously beside themselves with worry!

Baby would be staying in Brighton or London hospital to recover from surgery's. Due to having another child at home this meant that mum and dad would take it in turns to stay at their new poorly baby’s bedside as their other child also needed a parent there! This was so incredibly tough on all of them as you can only imagine!

Dad was given 3 months paid leave from work… but this was to end in October and dad would have to go back to work full time in order to be able to keep their mortgage and bills paid! So this made things very difficult with mum being able to stay with her baby as their other child had just started school! Meaning some days their tiny poorly baby would be miles away from them in a hospital alone!!! this is happening every week for my friends and the heartache they both feel is unimaginable!

They all still have a long road ahead with baby still needing multiple surgery’s and being uncertain of when he will be able to come home!

so the reason for me raising money for them is so Dad can have some more time off work so that one of them can always be with their children! And so when baby finally comes home they can all have time to be a family without the pressure of having to work a full time job!!
