Hi! I’m Khushbu, a Product Designer with 7 years of experience creating digital product experiences that truly serve people.

Since becoming a designer in 2011, I’ve been conscious of how design can impact the planet.

Through Cohort-2 of the Responsible Design Fellowship, I gained a deeper understanding of how designing without responsibility can cause harm—not only to people and communities but also to the ecosystems around them, often in irreversible ways. During this fellowship, I learned the principles of responsible design and applied them to a project supporting domestic violence survivors.

Now, through Cohort-3, I aim to deepen my understanding of responsible design practices for the natural ecosystem at East London Waterworks Park. I also hope to step into a leadership role, guiding a team of designers and building a positive influence within the organization.

I am a perpetual learner, fueled by curiosity and a passion to explore different facets of design. Your support will help me continue this journey and, importantly, pay it forward. Contributions to this fellowship fund will also support young girls’ education through the Ugam Education Foundation.
