Greetings!
My mission here is to continue to raise money to help offset my sister's ever-increasing medical bills as she continue to fight against cancer. Since she was diagnosed in 2016, had surgery, radiation, failed immunotherapy #1, had more surgery, and started immunotherapy #2; she now needs 6 specialists to manage her care and bills add up quickly.
In 2016, my 31 years old sister was diagnosed with aggressive, malignant melanoma stage IIIb. She underwent 2 surgeries of her head and neck, Proton radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and multiple biopsies all in the span of about 9 months. She had to take 4 months off of work due to complications from treatment. In December 2016, a PET scan revealed that cancer was still in her body despite treatment.
In January 2017, she underwent surgery to remove ALL the lymph nodes from the left side of her neck and started a new immunotherapy. In May, the PET scan was negative for any obvious cancer and the MRI did not show any cancer in the brain! Jen has to continue immunotherapy for approximaltey 6 more months as long as her PET scans stay "clean". She has been hospitalized twice since she started this new immunotherapy because her adrenals do not work and fevers make her pass out and have very low blood pressure.
Please consider dontaing to her fight against cancer. Copays, prescriptions, ambulance bills, physician bills, and costs of living continue to accumulate and Jen does not need financial stress in addition to medical stress.
