Let's build the new centre Ladder Yetu Foundation

Hi, my name is Alessia and I have been collaborating with the non-profit organization 'LADDER YETU FOUNDATION' for a few years.

The association operates in Arusha, Tanzania, and aims to break the cycle of poverty, help groups of women to become integral parts of the Tanzanian working reality and reduce the number of street children by guaranteeing their education and protection.

To this end, one of the first objectives is to build a safe and functional structure to welcome children from the neighborhoods surrounding the city of Arusha. The center guarantees educational activities, emotional support and protection for children.

This space is also used as a meeting point for activities with young adolescents aimed at strengthening their ability to deal with problems in everyday life, following a healthy lifestyle.

Ciao, mi chiamo Alessia e da qualche anno collaboro con l'organizzazione no-profit 'LADDER YETU FOUNDATION'.

L'associazione opera ad Arusha, in Tanzania, ed ha l'obiettivo di rompere il ciclo di povertà, aiutare gruppi di donne a diventare parti integranti della realtà lavorativa tanzaniana e ridurre il numero di bambini di strada garantendo loro educazione e protezione.

A tal fine, uno dei primi obiettivi è proprio quello di costruire una struttura sicura e funzionale per accogliere i bambini dei quartieri limitrofi alla città di Arusha. Il centro garantisce ai bimbi attività educative, supporto emotivo e protezione.

Questo spazio viene anche sfruttato come punto di aggregazione per le attività con i giovani adolescenti volte a rafforzare la loro capacità di affrontare problemi nella vita di tutti i giorni, seguendo uno stile di vita sano e salutare.
