Thanks for visiting Connor, Martin and Wayne’s donation page for our chosen charity, Anthony Nolan. We are taking on the infamous 3 peaks challenge -Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. For those who don’t know, Anthony Nolan is a charity that supports people who require stem cell/ bone marrow transplants by connecting people and donors and funding groundbreaking research for future patients.

The journey of a patient who may require a stem cell transplant is not a straight forward one, and no doubt at times feels like climbing a mountain three times over.

Over 40,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer every year in UK and for some their only hope for cure is in the form of a life saving stem cell donation from a stranger. Anthony Nolan makes those donations and transplants a possibility.

By donating you are supporting Anthony Nolan to give people a second chance at life, this could be someone’s mother, child, father or grandparent. Cancer does not care about someone age, family or circumstances.

Why is this important to us?

Connor’s partner Gabby was diagnosed with AML, a rare and very agressive form of blood cancer on the 17th December 2025. She began her battle to ‘nuke her leukaemia’ on 18th December 2025. Following a 5 week stay in hospital, chemotherapy and exceptional care, Gabby made it home where she continues her treatment. It’s unclear if she will need a transplant herself, however, she has been lucky enough that a family member is able to donate should she need it. Many people are not so lucky.

It also became very apparent during our research following her diagnosis that the stem cell register and donations are not widely recognised like other forms of donations are.

We hope to raise as much awareness for the stem cell register as well as funding to continue to support their life changing work for those who desperately need a second chance at life.
